Enne ja pärast pulmi / Before and after the wedding

Tervitusi kõigile! :) Siin on pikka aega väga vaikne olnud. Mõtlesin, et annan endast korraks ikka märku :) Paljud teist kindlasti ootavad juba pulmapilte. Lohutan teid sellega, et te pole ainukesed, ootame ise neid samuti. Aga varsti :) Ärge muretsege, ma jagan teiega oma ilusat päeva.
Plaanis on taas käsitööga tegelema hakata. Peas on uued mõtted. Mis täpsemalt, eks aeg näitab.

Näitaks teile paari asja, millega enne pulmi hakkama sain. Ma tegin ikka muud ka kui ainult pulmadeks valmistumine :)

Tikkisin vilditud sussidele. Sussidel on all nahast tallad ning sees on mõnusad linasest kangast sisetallad. Need on saadaval TeemeTeistmoodi salongis.

Üks taaskasutusprojekt. Vanadest kardinatest uus seelik. Seelik on kantav kahte moodi. Tegemist on ühe hõlmikseelikuga.

Greetings to all! :) It's been really quiet for some time now. I was thinking, I'll let you know, that I'm still here :) A lot of you wait for the pics of the wedding. You are not the only one, we are waiting for them as well. But soon :) Don't worry, I'll share with you our beautiful day.
I'm planning to get back on handcraft now. I have some new ideas. What's next excactly, time will show.

I'll show you few things I made before the wedding. Yap, I created things besides wedding deco and preps :)
First are felted slippers I embellished with embroidery. I didn't felt them, not this time :)
Second is a little recycling project. A little wrap skirt made of curtains. Love it! :) 

I promised to show you the dress after the wedding. So here it is :) Me and my dear hubby :) More to come! :)

Treasure - Teachers day - Õpetajate päev

Oktoober on õpetajate kuu. Ja täna on postiljonide päev :) Minu tänane galerii ongi pühendatud kooliskäijatele, õpetajatele ja postiljonidele. Mõlemad ametid on rasked, aga niii vajalikud.
Õpetajate päev oli üks tore päev. Õpilastele oli see selles suhtes hea päev, et ega tundidest sellel päeval eriti asja ei saanud. Asendusõpetajad võtsid asja suhteliselt lõdvalt ja enamasti olid sel päeval ka lühendatud tunnid. Õpetajad said end jälle lastena tunda ning abituriendid täiskasvanuina. Igati tore ja lõbus päev!

October is teachers month. And today is mail men's day :) So, my today's gallery is dedicated to all who go to school, to teachers and to all Post Office workers. Both jobs are very hard, but so needed and necessary.
When i was in school, every year there was special Teachers Day at school, where senior students switched places with teachers. They gave classes all day and teachers acted like 1st class children :) It was a great day for students too, as classes were shorter and substitute teachers didn't took their job very seriously either. It was a fun day :)

New iPod sleeve. It's in warm colors. I was inspired by beautiful weather we had on Saturday. It was beautiful sunny day. This embroidery is like sunrays through colorful leaves.

Käekott pulmadeks / Custom made purse for the wedding

Mäletate seda udust pildikest?
Täna ma näitan, mis see on :) Üks sõbranna tuli murega minu juurde, kingad näpus ja nutuvõru suu ümber. Tal kahe nädala pärast vaja pulma minna, aga ei leia kuidagi sobivat käekotti kingade juurde.
No, tegelikult ta helistas ja üldse ei nutnud, aga no mis sest :)
Sai siis natuke mõeldud ja natuke arutatud ja sobiv kotike sai suht kähku valmis. Pulmas kiideti mu näputööd ja imestati, et kust ta nii hästi sobiva koti leidis :) Ise jäin ka tulemusega rahule, tuli päris kaunis teine :)

Today I'll show you, what that was.
A girlfriend of mine came to me shoes in hands and tears in her eyes. Said, she has a wedding to go to and she needs a suiting purse.
Ok, she called and didn't cry, anyway :)
We discussed the design and in short time the purse was ready. The purse was popular in the wedding and others asked, where she got so matching purse :) I'm happy with the result too, it came out pretty nice :)

Kingitus / Gift

Meil on töö juures kombeks oma osakonnasiseselt sünnipäeva puhul üksteisele midagi kinkida. Varem kui osakond oli suurem, oli selleks kinkekaart. Nüüd on meid aga nii vähe, et mõtlesime asjale veidi personaalsemalt läheneda. Minu poolt linane rätik, millele õmblesin äärde puuvillase pitsi ja tikkisin peale "Jätku". Selle sisse pakkisin isetehtud puuviljaleiva. We have a custom in the office, inside of our department, that when one has birthday, we make presents to B-day girl. Before, when our department was bigger, present was a gift certificate. But now, there's only few of us and we thought to make a small but more personal gift. Last week it was our boss-lady's B-day. I made for her this linen bread basket napery. Sewed on this cotton lace and embroidered on a word, which basically means Bon Apetit. Inside of this i wrapped self made fruit bread.
