Provence - here we come

Asjad on peaaegu pakitud. Vähemalt voodi peale kokku kuhjatud :) Passid on välja otsitud ja väike ärevus on sees. Täna ongi viimaks see päev kui sõidame oma pulmareisile. Sõidame Lõuna-Prantsusmaale Provence'i maakonda. Loodan, et meil veab ilmaga ja et sellest tuleb meie kõige ilusam reis :)

Pont d'Avignon in Avignon

We are almost packed, at least all our things are piled on the bed :) Passports ready and I'm little nervous. Today we fly off to our honeymoon trip. We go to South-France Provence county. I hope we'll have a nice weather and this trip will be the most beautiful, we've ever had :)

Surfasin eile Martha Stewart'i lehel ning leidsin imehea idee lauakaunistuseks meie pulmas. Kuna me kasutame linast materjali oma riietes, siis sobib see ka lauale - näiteks lillevaasidele. Mulle hakkasid need väikesed vaasid nii väga meeldima, et eile õhtul tegin paar vaasi kohe valmis. Plusspunkte annab sellele see, et tegemist on taaskasutusega.
Palusime oma külalistel lilli mitte tuua või kui teisiti ei saa, siis rukkililli. Tuleb palju neid lilli tuleb ja need linased vaasid sobivad nende hoidmiseks väga kenasti. Ja kui lilli on vähe, siis saab nendesse ka teeküünlad panna ning ongi mõnus romantiline valgustus olemas.

I was surfing on Martha Stewart's homepage yesterday and found great idea for our table decorations for our wedding. We use linen fabrid on our clothes, then it's more than OK to use them also on our table decorations - on wases. I fell in love with these cute little wases instantly and I made few of them last night. Extra bonus on them is, that these are recycled.
We asked out guests not to bring flowers, but if they can't help themselves, then only cornflowers. No matter now much or less flowers we get, these wases are just absolutely perfect for cornflowers. And if we don't get many flowers, we can put little tealights in them and we have cozy romantic lights.

Pulmakutseid / Wedding invitations

Viimased nädalad olen tegelenud kutsetega. Ilusaid kutseid, millest inspiratsiooni ammutada on nii palju. Aga et leida midagi, mis sobiks meile ja mida ma suudaks ka ise järele teha, on nii raske. Aga tundub, et lõpuks on visioonist saanud reaalsus. Näitan teile mõningaid inspiratsiooni allikaid ning paari katsetust.

Last few weeks I've been working on our wedding invitations. There are so many beautiful invitations to get inspiration, but to choose one that suits for us and with our style and which I could make myself, is so difficult. But seams that finally we've reached from vision to final version. I'll show you few of my favorites and some examples, what I've made.

But, you have to wait for the final version ;)

Pulmatordiideid / Ideas for the wedding cake

Nii, väike hoiatus edaspidiseks. Võib juhtuda, et postitan siia nüüd natuke rohkem pulmateemalist värki, kuna teema minu jaoks hetkel aktuaalne :) Aga ehk ei pahanda see kedagi :)
Meie pulmad tulevad rahvuslikus stiilis. Pulmad toimuvad mu kodukandi lähedal metsa sees, meie mõlema rõivad tulevad linasest kangast ning kuidas saab siis tortki erineda üldstiilist.

Nami-nami on üks ülivahva kokandusfoorum ja olen kõigile neile vahvatele kokkadele ülitänulik ja Pillele, kes kuulutas välja Vabariigi aastapäeva ühiskokkamise. Sain sealt nii palju ideid, milline võiks minu tort olla. Ja kes teab, äkki võtan mõne kokkajaga sealt ühendustki ;)
Panen siia mõned oma lemmikud ja kõiki imelisi torditeoseid saate SIIT vaadata.

A little warning for the future. It may happen, that I'll post a little more wedding themed posts here, as it's very close theme for me at the moment :) Hope you don't mind.
Our wedding will be in folk theme. The party will be near my parents home in the middle of the forest, both of our clothes will be made of linen fabric and how can cake be something different than folk.

We have a really good cooking forum here and I'm very grateful to all these homecooks who post their recipes and pics there. Especially to Pille, who made up the theme to cook for our country's birthday. I got so many wonderful ideas for my wedding cake from there. And who knows, perhaps I even contact one of them to make an order ;)

Minu elus on toimumas suured muutused. Tänane mosaiik sümboliseeribki uusi väljakutseid ning tulevasi sündmusi mu elus. Pühendun rohkem joogale, sel suvel abiellun oma armastatud mehega, arendan oma käsitöö poodi Etsys ning kohe-kohe on algamas kevad ja mu lemmiklilled - nartsissid - hakkavad varsti õitsema.

There are big changes in my life. Today's mosaic symbolizes new challenges and future events in my life. I will take more time for yoga practising, I will marry with the love of my life, I will devote more time and effort to my craft shop in Etsy and spring is almost there with my favorite flowers - daffodils.

Täna otsisin Flickrist eestikeelsete märksõnadega. Pildikesi igapäeva elust. Hommikune kohv - ilma selleta ei suuda vist enamik inimesi end hommikul liikvele ajada. Pulmad - tänapäeval õnneks aina rohkem ja rohkem tavaline. Varsti endalgi see päev käes :) Ühistransport - tore oleks kaarikuga sõita :) Perekond - kõigil meil on pere. Olgu see siis kasvõi kuldkalake, kes akvaariumis elab, aga ta on osa kodust :)

Today I searched words in estonian. Pictures about everyday life. Morning coffee - most of the people can't get themselves to move in the mornings without it. Wedding - it's became more and more usual again. My lucky day will come too :) Public transport - would be lovely to ride on a horse cart :) Family - everyone has one. Even if it's a goldfish in the aquarium, it's part of the home :)
